More pictures here! Icelandic version Snatak Matthíasson achieved yet another victory in the weekly self-transcendence 2 mile race, which is held by the Icelandic Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team. These races have now started again after a brief pause in August, and it did not take Snatak long to remind everyone who has the best race result among the Marathon Team. Snatak's time was 11:14, which is about 30 seconds from his best time, but still good enough to beat second-place Andrés Ramón, who ran at a time of 11:50, with more than a 30 second margin. The 2 mile self-transcendence races are held every Tuesday evening at 18:45. The race starts at the City Hall and goes 2 loops around the Tjörnin. The next race will be held on September 14 and everyone is kindly invited to participate. The results of September 7 (with 1-mile split times shown in brackets):
